spring/summer 2019 make-up trends

​Shine in the sun this spring/summer with an array of glittering hues, gold-flecked  and metallic eyes to take you from a day on the beach, a girly lunch with friends or afternoon cocktails on the hotel terrace right through into the evening
Rainbow shades can brightened up any skin tone from hot pink to cool daffodil yellow on the eyes or why not take inspiration from Valentino's make-up artist, Pat McGrath, with hand applied Swarovski crystals as you hit the bar when the sun sets?  Okay, so they may not be the genuine sparklers but there's a great range of more affordable options on the high street too
Bronzers are back in a big way confirming the move away from contouring, so pop it along your cheekbones, not beneath them, for a really chiselled, sun-kissed look
Forget 'perfect' Instagram brows, virgin brows are back and they're bushy! Well, not too bushy as they still need a bit of attention to keep them fashionably messy. 
'No make-up' make-up is another key trend and when eyes are barely there, skin must be highly polished. Think minimal make-up and maximum radiance
Statement lips should be either rich power shades or cheery brights including Chanel inspired raspberry red, or Chloé's creamy burgundy. Or why not stick with vintage Burberry power red? 
And finally, the Meghan effect keeps freckles on show and if you don't have them, faux freckles carefully pencilled in, will do almost as well!
